Steve Cowen

Steve is our Winchester-based musculoskeletal specialist Podiatrist and newest member of the Eclipse  team, joining in spring 2023. Steve has a wealth of experience, passion, and enthusiasm for keeping people moving.  

Steve graduated from the University of Southampton July 2018 with a first-class honours’ degree. He started his career in private practise in Salisbury and then quickly progressed into his first role as an MSK specialist in Ringwood in 2019 ,serving the Dorset/Hampshire border.    

Why Podiatry? 

“Podiatry has enabled me to interact with the local community and help others stay fit, active, and healthy. There is nothing more rewarding than helping others achieve their goals and walk pain free whether you are a seasoned ultra-athlete, Sunday league footballer or just want to walk the dog pain free.

Before Podiatry, I worked as a ski boot fitter and running specialist in New Zealand, Australia, France, and the UK. I have always had a fascination and interest in human movement and been an active outdoorsy and sporty person. I have always been around feet!

Outside the clinic you will mostly find me outdoors: climbing, running, cycling, snowboarding, and hiking in the mountains. I’ve just started the Southwest coastal path! 52 days of awesome walking ahead in stunning coastal scenery!!
