A Winchester Clinic Update

Firstly, thank you so much for bearing with us during this unprecedented time. We have been back up and running since the start of June at our other clinical sites but unfortunately we have been given no update from Sarum Road Hospital as to when it may re-open for elective Out Patient consultations.

Our current short-term solution:

• I will be running a clinic on a Wednesday at Alexandra Sports running shop in Olivers Battery, Winchester
  
• I have exclusive use of the shop and clinic space so there will be no other customers in the shop
  
• Please wait in your car if appropriate until the time of your appointment to minimise cross over of patients

The address for Alexandra Sports is:

92 Olivers Battery Road South, Winchester SO22 4EZ

• Where possible, please come to your appointment alone, unless you have a carer or are under 16 (when parental attendance is required)
• When you arrive in our clinic, you will be directed through our one-way system, so as to avoid people who may be leaving
• There are no tea and coffee making facilities or newspapers
  
• Our appointment times have now been staggered to reduce cross over of patients and waiting in the reception area
• We are keeping doors open as much as possible to ensure minimal contact, while maintaining privacy
• We will ask you to alcohol gel your hands when you arrive

• Please do not wear gloves – we will ask you to remove these unless they are put on AFTER you arrive for your appointment
• Our Podiatrists will be wearing full PPE when they treat you, this is to protect you as well as them
• Please wear a mask to your appointment
• While we have always cleaned our treatment rooms between clients, we have now allowed 15 minutes between clients in order to fully decontaminate the space

We believe that this has created the safest environment possible for all of our clients to get the treatment they require.
